ZyXEL MWR211 Portable 11N Wireless-N 3G Router

ZyXEL is a Taiwan based communication enterprise that manufactures DSL and other such networking devices. ZyXEL MWR211 Portable 11N Wireless-N 3G Router is a portable wireless router which is of palm size. The router provides high-speed internet access anytime and anywhere. This 3G router can be carried on a business trip to different places and the Wi-Fi with WPS protection enable us to share internet with friends, family and business colleagues, and almost in all places like hotel, car, and park.

The router has a 3G WAN flexible connection and has a changeable and rechargeable Lithium-ion battery of 3000m capacity with the minimum backup of 2 to 4 hours. Its data transfer rates is upto 150Mbps with the help of 802.11n wireless connectivity. The router provides protection from hackers with the help of its in-built SPI firewall and DoS attack shield and NAT functions. It comes with anti-spam/phishing and content filtering that protect the system. The router can operate without any external power source.

The router supports adapters from all the major US carriers, because of which we can change our ISP without replacing the router. The router is enhanced with a data usage alert system which informs us through email when the usage is advancing to the allowance. The router is not bound to any service provider, this helps in multiple connection to ten or more users. The router is able to set priorities to certain application like game consoles, online game zone and VoIP etc.

The gadget has the USB port for better connectivity. It comes with cloud- based content filtering along with anti-spamming and anti-phishing feature. The router keeps on monitoring the data usage.
