The FXO port of the adapters is composed of TelePort, a bright relay that permits one phone to put and accept calls via PSTN and VoIP. When power is lost, PSTN fail-over permits the 5801 and 5802 to automatic route calls over the dial-up phone networks. The PSTN's support also permits urgent dialing with the use of 911, 999 and 112 calling services. VoIP to PSTN or PSTN to VoIP call linking is also provided with complete security.
