Zen’s Automatic Compensation System extended to partners

One of the UK ISPs – Rochdale based Zen Internet has announced that they are extending their Automatic Compensation scheme mandated by Ofcom for the benefits of customers to their channel partners and wholesale customers also. Hence the partners’ customers will also get benefited with the automated compensation system whether or not the ISP partner has signed for Ofcom’s code.

The voluntary system of Automatic Compensation were started in April 2019 and the customers have been compensated for, when they had an issue of loss of service for more than 2 days, late repairs or missed engineer visits. Almost most of the ISPs have agreed and supported for the new system even medium service providers also such as Vodafone, Hyperoptic and Zen Internet.

But Zen thought that it will be more beneficial and fair only when the customers of partners should get the benefits of compensation upon suffering with service. The partners of Zen need not require to join the scheme, however they have to pass on to their customers any compensation that flows down.

Managing Director of Zen – Andrew Fryatt said that the new auto compensation scheme is a wonderful system for UK consumers, however they were given importance to ensure not end there. They want to provide great customer service so that they have extended such system to their partners also to enjoy the benefit of compensation so that they can pass on the same to their customers.
