Zayo Expand UK Metro Fibre Optic Network Around Greater London

One of the world’s leading communication infrastructure companies, the Zayo Group has recently announced that they are planning to expand their metro fibre optic data network around Greater London city and this requires building of new fibre routes which will run from Hertfordshire’s Hatfield to East London’s Stratford.

Zayo Group Holdings is providing services of communication infrastructure and solutions which include bandwidth/ fibre connectivity, colocation & cloud infrastructure to the leading businesses worldwide having customers in the field of wireless/ wireline carriers, finance, content, media companies, healthcare & many large scale enterprises.

The current deployment in London will be added to their existing footprint which claims it as the largest sewer-based fibre network in the city. The company is having network reach of 128910 miles across Europe and North America and having 50 datacentres.

The operator said that such expansions based on the demands of enterprise customers and cloud/datacentre providers will also be going to happen in other parts of European cities such as Dublin from Ireland, Paris from France and Amsterdam from Netherlands.

MD of Zayo Europe – Annette Murphy said that the network expansions which are success based ones, will bring great benefits to new and existing customers in Europe. The network is focused on carriers/ wireless operators, technology, financial services, cloud service providers and data-driven enterprises. They are striving to focus on developing their robust network to meet the demands with features of lowest latency and highest capacity fiber routes between important customer locations.
