Wired and Wireless Communication

One very common use for broadband is in computer networking. The communication between one or more computers on the network is referred as computer networking. Networking is nothing but any of the two communication devices connected to each other over any medium through which they can share data. These devices can be few meters separated from each other like bluetooth or can be couple of kilometers away like the Wi-Fi Hotspots. Networking is also best known as sub system of telecommunication.

As far as connecting users to share data, there are different ways, wired or wireless. In a wired communication, the devices are supposed to be connected using Ethernet cables on the private network or commonly over dial-up, DSL broadband, leased lines, dedicated links, packet switching, optical fibre, frame relays etc.

Another form of communication is over wireless radio transmission. These communications can be short, medium or long transmission. Shortest of all would be ZigBee, short one would a BlueTooth, medium range would be a Wireless or Wi-Fi or WiMax and long range communications would be over satellite or via mobile phones.

Last thing you need to get connected is a service provider that offers such connectivity. Some of the examples of network component that are being used to connect the users are Server Farms, Storage Area Networks, Wireless community networks, Jungle networks etc. a good research is required before enrolling to a service provider as you need to understand their offers and pick the one which fulfill your requirements.
