Vonage: UK's VoIP Authority

Maintaining a phone line on top of a broadband Internet service is costing a lot of people on utility bills. But with the world as it is today, having both a telephone and Internet access are a requirement of every household and business. The need to easily communicate with other people across the nation and maybe, even with those outside the country, is actually a big necessity nowadays.

And then Vonage was introduced. Vonage technically belongs to the UK Broadband industry and their line of business is voice over IP - the technology that combines your Internet service and your telephone service into one neat package. After their penetration of the UK broadband market, telephone services have never been the same again.

Vonage offers their UK subscribers of an unlimited local call plan starting from £5.99 per month. And when you think about it, that amount is just a fraction of what you usually pay for a regular phone service. Plus, the plan includes all calls made to Ireland as well. And if ever you need a subscription package that allows you to call to the rest of the world, all you have to do is to avail one of Vonage World Plans instead. There are three plans actually and each of them is offered at £7.99. Plus, they come with unlimited hours too. Countries are grouped accordingly, and each plan contains a list of eligible countries. Just make sure you select the one that includes the country you usually call.

If the only thing that stops you from getting VoIP is the technicalities that come with it, you don't have to worry about that. Vonage requires no software, no tricky installations, and you don't need to be at your PC to set it all up. All you have to do is to receive the Vonage box they'll send over, plug it in, and make calls. Use it the same way you would any regular phone. It's really that simple.
