January 31, 2008Vodafone slashes the price of its mobile broadband serviceThe major mobile phone service provider Vodafone has reduced the price of its mobile broadband and the new prices will come into effect from 4th of this week. The service will provide broadband access for both home users and SMEs across UK. According to the report published on its website, the service for home users will provide up to 7.2 Mbps speed and 3GB download limit and comes with a price of £15 per month. The price of its current mobile broadband package which provides 3 GB usage allowance for £30 per month will be slashed to £20. This package allows you to access broadband via your laptop with its 30 Day Price plan just similar to PAYG broadband. You can choose either a USB modem or a modem stick which you get while you sign up to a contract. Currently, the major mobile operators like T-mobile and Three offer similar products for those who look for a competitive mobile broadband package which helps them to be in touch with their family, colleagues and customers while they are on travel. Although, mobile broadband has been considered a bit expensive, in recent times, the price is coming down, thanks to the new entrants to mobile broadband market like O2 and Orange for creating a healthy, competitive environment in market. | ||
