Vodafone offers mobile customers ’30 Day Network Guarantee’ to trial service

UK’s mobile network operator. Vodafone. is to give all small businesses, new and upgrading customers, a chance to try out their new service over a short period, through the ’30 Day Network Guarantee’ plan. The plan will give customers trying it out, the option of leaving the service, with no strings attached, if they are not satisfied, at the end of the period.

Ostensibly, the guarantee can be used by all new customers as well as upgrading Pay Monthly and Pay-as-you-go (PAYG) bundles that are bought through direct channels, like the operator’s 500 UK retail outlets, or online shop, or over the phone.

The move seems to come after Vodafone was seen as the most complained-about mobile provider as per Ofcom’s latest study and released figures. The company said the guarantee offered the chance to customers to test the speed and quality of the phone and network before committing, thereby making them sure of their choice or they can cancel the contract. Meanwhile Vodafone has worked to improve the expansion of its 4G coverage, to reach 821 towns, cities and districts, besides smaller communities.

Jeroen Hoencamp, CEO of Vodafone, said this is an industry first and truly puts the needs of customers at the heart of their business. They have heavily invested on network and services over the last few years and now given the freedom to customers to test the network and to come back or cancel the agreement, with no questions asked, he added.
