Tiscali’s One Million Broadband Customers Face Switch Off

 

Tiscali UK, has been facing rainy days for quite a long time now. This Italy based broadband service provider is going through a financial constriction, which has led to a stumble in their path of progress. On one side, this largest and most popular UK ISP  is definitely seeing an eclipse. On the other side, almost one million subscribers of the broadband network, are facing a sudden switch off when connected to the network.

Tiscali had recently held talks with the banks, to request them for postponement of their interest payments for the long term loans. The drowning company had also disposed off some of their British assets to the British Sky Broadcasting internet service provider. Hopes are pinned on the Carphone Warehouse now. If this company does not take over the reigns of the remaining assets, then Tiscali might soon be history in the UK.

However, this idea does not seem to be working well with the one million customers of the ISP. Moreover, predictions from broadband experts suggest that such a take over of the UK assets of Tiscali by Carphone Warehouse is not possible considering the current global economic conditions.

A majority of these experts also foresee a downfall for Tiscali UK in the near future. This means that the one million customers will one fine day be bereaved of a broadband connection. These subscribers are not the only ones who will face the hardships of a sudden broadband strip down. The business customers of the ISP will also be sailing in this boat.
