TalkTalk can Stand Traffic due to New Game Launch

TalkTalk, one of the leading internet service providers operating in the United Kingdom has affirmed that it is prepared to bear an increased level of internet traffic that may be triggered off by the launch of a long awaited online game. The game is called Call of Duty – Modern Warfare Two.

The long awaited was launched early this week, and it has already excited a great number of gamers in the United Kingdom. CoD: MW2 is compatible with the PS3, X-box 360 and the PC. There had been concerns looming following the release of the game whether the broadband providers in the country would be able to cope with the huge increase in online traffic generated by it.

However, it has been a great relief for the ardent gamers in the country that at least one frontline broadband provider has come forward to address the issue with confidence.  TalkTalk, one of the broadband providers in the UK that offer the cheapest business broadband deals, has claimed that it has kept its infrastructure ready to bear the traffic surge that would be created by the new game. The ISP added that its network would not be strained by the great numbers of people that would be playing the game online at a time.

TalkTalk maintained that they had been anticipating such an online traffic surge and had readied its system for the onslaught. It is also reported that the officials of the ISP have brushed aside the doubts that there might evolve issues as players all over the world got online to take on their friends and enjoy the thrill delivered by the new game.

According to a TalkTalk official, The largest next generation broadband network in the United Kingdom has been run by TalkTalk, and it was optimised to ensure it could stand high online traffic levels generated by games such as Call of Duty.
