T-Mobile broadband customers to get free wifi access

The leading public Wifi operator, T-mobile is to launch free wifi service for its mobile broadband customers who have taken up its web'n'walk Plus or Max packages. This will enable its customers who get high speed broadband via 3G (HSDPA) technology to use the network system public wifi hotspots available in UK without any additional cost. However, those who are not the customers of web'n'walk Plus or Max mobile plans usually need to pay £5 for an hour , £10 a month for subscription or £20 per month for the users who have subscribed to any T-Mobile phone plan.

Currently, T-mobile has its wifi hotspots spreading across Starbucks coffee shops, airports, main-line train stations, service stations and many other places of importance in UK.

Richard Warmsley, the Head of T-mobile’s Internet on the Move said in a press report:
“We’ve already built a market-leading high-speed 3G network nationwide, now we’re strengthening our lead in mobile broadband by adding our wi-fi HotSpots to web’n’walk Plus / Max price plans. So as well as comprehensive 3G HSDPA coverage, you can be sure of a fast connection where it matters most, whether it’s in Starbucks, the airport, train stations or any other HotSpot location - at no extra cost.”

T-Mobile offers this package that includes mobile broadband and wifi access with price starting at £12.50 per month (if you combine it with a Flext mobile contract). With this service, you can access to the internet using your laptop.
