Surge by Fourteen Thousand in Virgin Customer Base
The fourth quarter results for the year 2009 will be announced by the leading cable and fibre optic broadband provider in the United Kingdom Virgin Media as a quarter where it displayed robust trading results.
Virgin Media, the provider of popular quadplay broadband, TV, home phone and mobiles bundles is expected to make the important announcement this week of its adding 14,000 fresh customers to its network during 2009 quarter four.
The Daily Telegraph has reported that the broadband provider was all set to announce that the average revenues of the provider per unit a month surged to GBP 44.50 over this period compared to GBP 42.30 a year earlier.
The total revenues of the leading cable broadband provider were also understood to have rose from GBP 948.5 million to GBP 963 million.
Besides, it is also believed that Virgin Media would come up with the confirmation that it was going ahead with its music tracks download service and was close to thrashing out agreements with EMI, Warner and Sony.
It is worth mentioning here that the latest financial results come complimenting the launch of a fresh business broadband internet service by Virgin Media.
