Pipex WiMax reaches Warwick
The second rollout is planned to take place in the city named Warwick as the WISP (wireless internet service providers) work together in a collaboration with the National Grid Wireless, Warwick District Council, and Intel to create the WiMax connectivity across three web sites.
It is believed that the trial will go on the media around May or June (of this year). The Warwick District Council will be the first ever customers which will use the long-ranged wireless broadband so they can lease line services, take advantage of voice over IP, and home networking.
The company plans to sell their connectivity to home subscribers in the future as well as that is a great business path for them to take. A business development manager at Pipex Wireless, Graham Currier says that they are planning on having their products launched in other cities which includes Manchester (in the United Kingdom) which definitely excites many UK’ers. Graham Currier also mentioned that the wireless internet service provider is also looking towards having a rollout of their technology in a rural area.
The possibilities are endless and with new launches occuring in the United Kingdom, technology has grown across the world very fast.
