Orange roll out Flybox mobile broadband router next year

Orange broadband provider has planned to offer a new wifi router called Flybox in the early next year. This wi-fi router is compatible with both ADSL broadband and 3G mobile technology as it comes with a built-in SIM card. This router is expected to help Orange customers who live 3 or 4 Kms from exchanges and often suffer from slow speed internet access.

Orange already offers LiveBox wireless router with its Home Max package and a standard wireless router with its Home Starter package. The new router which will be available for Orange customers will come with four LAN ports and you can also connect a conventional phone with this device. The SIM card that comes with this router functions just like the one that is used in a 3G mobile phone.

The Flybox router is expected to offer speed up to 1 Mbps in the beginning and you will get other features like home networking option, a separate voice line with an assigned number etc.
