O2 had a Great Year in 2009 in terms of Sales

O2, one of the prominent mobile broadband operators in the United Kingdom is exuberant following its topping a poll that was carried out with sales as the prime parameter. The ISP is also one of the popular home broadband service providers in the country.

It has been revealed by broadband comparison website, Broadband Genie that it had sold the products of the broadband providing firm owned by Telefonica, very strongly in the year 2009.

The broadband comparison website further revealed that other internet service  providers operating in the United Kingdom that enjoyed equally tremendous sales during last year included bundle providers such as Virgin Media and BT. Plusnet and the exclusive broadband internet service of the Post Office were two more that had great sales during the period.

Felix Geyr, the home and broadband chief at O2 said while discussing the findings that the comparison website Broadband Genie’s visitors’ choosing O2 Broadband as their top product in 2009 reflected the commitment showed by them for providing the customers with the best home broadband internet service.

Geyr added that they were really proud for the fact that their customers were pleased with the company’s service, and they would be focusing on the same in the 2010 as well. Incidentally, O2 had only last week announced its launching fixed home phone service, which would be offered to the customers as broadband phone bundles.
