It has been reported that the music industry has decided through voting to back a three-strikes anti-piracy rule, according to which online illegal file-sharers will have their internet connection speeds slowed down following warnings. With this, the music industry expects the rifting music artist of the UK to play down their differences.

It was turbulent times in the UK music industry until now with some leading musicians being divided over the proposal of the business secretary Peter Mandelson to suspend temporarily the internet connections of those users that persistently flouted the law.

It has been reported that a meeting of around a hundred leading artists had taken place last day, mainly with a view to bring about a consensus with in the music industry of the country.
