For effectuating this, the UK broadband provider has slashed the length of its contract periods.
According to the fresh moves, Plusnet UK ISP’s minimum contract term for the UK customers signing up to its broadband contracts has plunged to twelve months from a stodgy eighteen months. These revised contract periods apply on Plusnet’s Unlimited and Value home broadband packages.
For the customers opting for the UK ISP’s beginners’ Value home package that is also the cheapest broadband package in Britain in terms of annual price, Plusnet offers a monthly data allowance of 10MB, a connection speed of 8Mbps and a wireless router for free. The price of this package is GBP 5.99 a month for the initial three months. Thereafter it steadies on GBP 11.99.
The unlimited broadband package of Plusnet also offers a free wireless router besides an access speed of up to 8Mbps, although it does not offer any download limit. Pricings of the Unlimited broadband packages that also accommodates a static IP address, has been fixed at GBP 11.99 for the initial three months, followed by GBP19.99 per month for the remaining term.
Plusnet offers its Talk home phone extras for an additional payment to its customers who opt for either deal. The customers can enjoy free weekend and evening calls to landlines, besides free calls to home phone customers of Plusnet. Moreover, this offer also includes a discount of 25 per cent on calls to mobile phones in the UK and 300 minutes of talktime to twenty international destinations.
