Microsoft to release Xbox One ahead of Sony’s PS4

Microsoft and Sony will release their latest game console but on different dates. While Microsoft has announced the release date of Xbox One to be November 22, Sony will release it across the world in a gap of one week. However, Sony’s PS4 would be released in North America on November 15.

Microsoft has confirmed that this new console will be available initially in UK, US, Germany, Ireland, Canada, Spain, France, Italy, Brazil, Austria, Mexico, New Zealand and Australia. Other areas will get the game console in the beginning of 2014, it has added.

According to Yusuf Mehdi, Xbox’s marketing vice-president the team has worked excellent and is ready for a launch. Pre-orders for the new console has been sold out faster compared to any of the products launched so far by other companies. Also, the CPU is upgraded to 1.75 GHz from 1.6 GHz. Hence, the whole system is set to be faster than before. Microsoft’s product is reported to be priced at £429 in the UK and Sony’s at £349.
