Luminet joins Connect Westminster and offer businesses the voucher scheme

Luminet, the wireless internet service provider, has joined the new Connect Westminster scheme. The £2.8 million scheme also offers local businesses (SMEs) broadband vouchers worth up to £2,000 to help them get a new superfast broadband, or upgrade, by covering the capital cost for installation.

The scheme will focus on areas in Westminster and the West End Partnership. It will be launched in the coming August and will offer vouchers only if the proposed connection is “business grade”. A minimum of 30Mbps can be offered and if it supports upgrade to 1Gbps speed in future. Luminet has the right products to meet the digital needs of local businesses (SMEs), such as a range of Fixed Wireless Access type of broadband and Ethernet products.

The CEO of Luminet, Sasha Williamson, had said earlier, that they pride themselves, on delivering connectivity, focused on the London market, on being a local company offering sucn service for the last 10 years. She also said that their leading NPS score of 4.2 tops the telco segment in UK, to be UK’s most customer-centric broadband supplier. Since the ‘Fibre Air’ product was launched last year, all installs were completed within 12.5 days, she pointed out.
