Low Broadband Prices of BT surprise Zen Internet
According to fresh claims in the broadband market of the United Kingdom, the cheap broadband packages pricing currently being offered by BT would make the rival internet service providers in the market struggle matching those.
According to Zen Internet’s product development head Andrew Saunders, the internet service provider has surprised the broadband market by offering super-fast fibre-to-the-cabinet broadband services at such low prices.
The pricing by BT that brough forth the ire of the internet service providers include the price of BT Infinity Option One that offers upload speeds of up to 2Mbps and download speeds of up to 40Mbps. It is priced at just GBP 19.99 on an eighteen month contract with a usage allowance of 20GB.
BT packs its Infinity Option Two for users seeking unlimited WiFi broadband minutes, upload speeds of up to 10Mbps, free connection costs and advanced security features at a price of GBP 24.99 a month.
Saunders revealed to PC Pro that BT has been quite aggressive with its broadband internet retail prices, which could make it potentially difficult for them to be as aggressive on their broadband product pricing.
