Laptop data roaming prices slashed

The leading mobile firm in the UK, Vodafone has announced that they have reduced laptop data roaming prices. The cost of its Connect Abroad service is now £12 which is around £8 a day, excluding VAT, in Europe, Egypt, Australia and New Zealand through Vodafone subsidiaries. This innovative cost extends to roaming services operated through partners in France, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium.

It is said that the laptop users who are in search of an alternative to Wi-Fi while travelling will be able to receive benefits of cheaper data roaming services from Vodafone. Users will be able to connect to the internet via a Vodafone Mobile Connect USB modem or a Vodafone Mobile Connect 3G broadband data card wherever there is a HSPDA network.

Frank Rovekamp, global chief marketing officer for Vodafone commented that customers can nowadays access internet services on their laptops for an uncomplicated, daily rate, reasonable to hotel Wi-Fi and DSL services with Vodafone Connect Abroad service provided by the firm. Another fact that impresses the subscribers is that the company has slashed the price of its mobile broadband service to £25 a month.
