ISPA Awards 2018 – its a time for Public Nominations for “Internet Hero”

The Internet Service Providers Association (ISPA) is the Trade Association of internet service providers in the UK. The ISPA had announced for its 20th Annual ISPA Awards 2018 which is to be held on July 12, 2018 at the Midland Hotel located at 16 Peter Street, Manchester M60 2DS United Kingdom. The entry was opened to service providers who offer hosting, broadband, cloud and VoIP services and those who have made internet as a safe and secure place for users.

Now the ISPA has announced for public nominations for one of the award categories “Internet Hero 2018”. Last year Marcus Hutchins was given the Hero Award (for the WannaCry killswitch). And there was also a Villain Award given last time. This year ISPA has decided to drop this award. But in their view, the Villain award had got more importance and positive impact than Hero as their intention is to create awareness on bad practices.

Public nominations for Internet Hero 2018 can be submitted to the ISPA either through email – awards@ispa.org.uk or through twitter – @ISPAUK with the hashtag #InternetHero. The last date for public nominations is May 31, 2018.

Please take up this chance to nominate your favourite ISP and make them to win the title.
