Independent on Sunday "Tiscali for sale"

sale.pngIf you are a avid reader of the Independent on Sunday you will know they recently published a article regarding Tiscali and a possible sale. Tiscali are said to of put the UK sale price at around 600 million GBP, however this is just the UK arm that is being sold off. With such a high sale price some may wonder who would be willing to buy Tiscali, and it's expected 150,000 customer base. If AOL UK or ntl:Telewest purchase the ISP it will put them above BT in customer numbers, BT currently has 3,000,000. Other likely companies to buy Tiscali include BSkyB, BT, NTL, Orange, Carphone Warehouse etc. The profits from Tiscali UK are around 30 Million, and what ever company does buy them (if any) will have to deal with allot of strain. We tried to get in contact with Tiscali however we have yet to hear back from them. The main question is, is Tiscali really for sale and who, if anyone will buy them? We will keep you updated.
