Hertfordshire gets Super-fast Broadband from Vtesse
Areas around Hertfordshire would enjoy the pilot of super fast broadband internet services in the coming months according to reports. The announcement virtually comes as a surprise to the residents of the area as these parts of Hertfordshire were earmarked once as areas unlikely to be served with such a technology.
Nevertheless, today the technology is being deployed here by Vtesse Networks, and the trials are expected to offer access speeds of up to 48Mbps in Stapleford, Bramfield, Birch Green and Hertingfordbury in the coming months.
A leading broadband comparison website ISPReview UK reported that previously the areas had been virtually stigmatised as final third communities that referred to those parts of the united Kingdom that were never thought to receive next generation broadband services for not only technical but also economic reasons.
Meanwhile, Vtesse Networks’ chief executive officer Aidan Paul said to the website that they were delighted for being able to rollout super-fast broadband internet service to communities in their home town of Hertford, which otherwise might have never recieved them.
Paul added that his company wanted to highlight the business broadband case for rolling out broadband internet services in such areas.
