Fresh Music Tracks added to Sky Songs Music Download Service
It has been reported that the popular internet service provider operating in the United Kingdom Sky Broadband has signed an agreement that would see music from the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand and Al Green added to the online streamlining and download service of the provider.
According to fresh reports the broadband provider that is popular for its remarkable broadband TV bundle packages, has teamed up with Merlin, the rights agency to acquire access to a range of record labels including Ministry of Souns and Domino. Merlin in its turn represents 10 per cent of key markets of global music.
This development is something of great refreshment to the online music admirers as it entitles the broadband customers to access unlimited downloads and streaming on a subscription or pay per album or pay per track basis via the service.
Sky Songs general manager, Justin Moodie meanwhile said on the deal that it meant that fantastic music was availed through the service. He added that the team aimed at a constant growth as well as the improvement of the Sky Songs service, which could be given a refreshing impetus by the new addition.
Sky had launched Sky Songs service in October with a view to provide the broadband users with a legal way to stream and download their favourite music tracks. It is also worth mentioning here that Virgin Media, the rival internet service provider was also looking ahead to launch its own music download service in a very shor time.
