Free Wi-Fi on City Cabs Edinburgh from March

City Cabs of Edinburgh will be soon offering free Wi-Fi service for customers using their taxi service. All of the 440 vehicles in the City Cabs fleet will be installed with Wi-Fi systems running on the O2 mobile network. City Cabs is partnering with the Glasgow-based telecommunications company Exsel Group, to offer the free access, even on the move.

City Cabs is a co-operative and Edinburgh’s largest and longest serving taxi association, started in 1925. George Aird, managing director of CityCabs, said they are excited to work with Exsel to offer this free service to their customers, enabling tourists business community and the general public to be able to be connected all the time. The free Wi-Fi service of City Cabs is expected to go live in coming March.
