Firenet Acquisition Confirmed by Fast.co.uk
Fast.co.uk, one of the emerging internet service providers operating in the United Kingdom has recently announced its acquiring the rival broadband service providing firm, Firenet.
As a mattter of fact, Firenet an internet service company based in Northern Ireland that is an established supplier of hosting and dial up services besides its forte – broadband. Fast.c.uk has announced that their acquisition of the well established firm was a sign of its growth plans.
Although, hardly any financial detail has been released yet abouth the agreement, Mark Baker of Fast.co.uk has claimed that the company was proud to invest into the United Kingdom a substantial amount. He added that the takeover would keep the broadband provider at the forefront of the broadband industry of the country.
According to Baker’s claims, they had an excellent range of fresh products and services, which would be launched over the coming few months, on their way to add even greater value for their existing as well as fresh customers.
At the beginning of 2009, Fast.co.uk, an emerging provider of business and home broadband packages had launched a dedicated server brand of its own, known as Dedi.co.uk. The company had also launched its beta test of ADSL2+ services to its customers. This service boasts of delivering a download speed of 24Mbps.
