Extra storage space to broadband users from BT

Here is good news for all the BT broadband users. BT broadband Internet is all set to give up 5 GB of extra online storage space to their users. The lucky BT subscribers will also receive the firms Auto Backup service.

The offer does not wind up with this alone. The customers who do not want the services offered will gain access to 1GB of storage space from the telecommunications firm through its Digital Vault offering.

Emma Sanderson, director of value-added services at BT Retail, said that this proposal is intended to make it easier for customers to store their “digital valuables” in one online location. With this the users will be able to access their information from anywhere in the world. She mentioned that a recent study has shown that most of the customers are careless about their valuable files and other photos or documents. They realise the fact only when they have lost the details.

BT celebrated the 70th anniversary of its 999 emergency service last month and the telecommunications company also stated that the line now deals with 30 million calls per year.
