EE to provide more customer service jobs in Northern Ireland

About 250 customer service jobs will be opened in Northern Ireland by EE broadband, it has been reported. The move has been taken after the customer service role was shifted to the UK from the overseas. 1,000 positions have been  shifted so far from other places and job openings for other positions in various locations will be announced soon.

Apart from this EE will also triple the number of apprenticeships to provide job opportunities to more than 1,300 young people before the end of next year. It is reported that out of 460, four-fifths were recruited as apprentices and most of them will be placed for a full time job. As per the latest figures from the Office for National Statistics, one in five of 16 to 24 year olds are out of work. Hence, EE plans to bring in more apprenticeships owing to lack of job availability. Prime Minister James Cameron has praised EE saying that bringing back 1,000 jobs back to UK is great news. It can also pave way to provide opportunities to hard working people, he added.
