Could Voter Allegiance be Affected by Broadband Policies?

Expert advises that the consumers of the broadband services in the United Kingdom may join that section of the general public that would vote with their feet if the controversial anti-online filesharing legislation implementation plans were continued by the government of the country.
The advise has been put forward by the spokesman for a website that is dedicated to offering information, reviews and news on the latest happenings in the international and the UK record industry – DailyMusicGuide. The person also advised that that the politicians in the country were required to exercise caution on this context.
The editor at the web portal, John Russel, explained that the major political parties in the United Kingdom were setting out their stance currently, on the illegal downloading issue, which could culminate in damaging them in the future.
According to him, in the near future, the European Commission would take up the battle against online piracy (copyright infringement), by introducing guidelines for prosecuting those hardcore downloaders that persistently broke the rules. He notes that for this particular reason, the politicians could do better by providing it with a wider berth, as though it was viewed by the consumers of broadband internet to be unfair.
Russel also opined that any political party in the United Kingdom, aspiring to win votes in the upcoming general election, would be forced to support the act of filesharing ultimately, as they would have to pay a heavy price for announcing the other way, the policy publicly.
