ComScore survey predicts growth in UK mobile broadband

Mobile broadband enables the users to access internet in places where Cable or ADSL broadband have not penetrated. As the broadband needs constantly undergo tremendous changes based on external factors, new broadband technologies have never been seen as valuable boons as today.

Despite the cost factor, the number of who use mobile broadband is increasing day by day. Many surveys as such conducted by Comscore reveal this fact. The popularity that mobile broadband is presently gaining is due to convenience features that it offers. Any one who is on travel, even in the remotest place can access internet and be in touch with kith and ken and colleagues etc.

Serge Matta, the senior Vice President of Comscore commented:
“As consumers increasingly demand and depend on portable internet access, the demand for mobile broadband should continue to increase.”

What should be noted is that the growth of mobile broadband will be extended to future and there will be many Internet service providers who will offer various choices to the users both in terms of price and service.

Meanwhile, T-mobile is all set to pull many more customers in the coming years as its target of fixed line market for 2008 was already stated by the provider.
