The UK broadbandprovider Easynet Connect has introduced a new broadband service, dubbed SureStream, which according to the company would offer remarkable internet access speeds of up to 8Mbps.

The SureStream broadband packages of Easynet Connect would be available for a monthly price of GBP 399 for all medium to small sized businesses located close to the firm’s 1,200 exchanges in the United Kingdom. The main advantage of the package reportedly projected by the broadband provider is that it would be around half the BT price for an equivalent platform.

It is also understood that more than seventy per cent of small businesses in the country will be able to enjoy the business broadband packagethat comes supported by a tremendous issue response time of four hours and service level guarantee offered by Easynet Connect.

Easynet Connect’s managing director, Chris Sterning was reported as saying that it was significant that the small businesses in the country enjoyed optimum value for their broadband internet connection, since increased economic pressures were faced by them to lower their IT spend.

Sterning further went on to claim that their staging a leased line service equivalent to an 8Mbps one for almost only half the price of of BT ensured that high quality, better value broadband internet connectivity was a reality.

Easynet Connect, a part of the British Sky Broadband group (BSkyB), boasts of the second largest optic fibre network in the UK with a fibre line of 6030 km. Last day, they had come up with a fibre-connection of fixed price that better suited the small to medium sized business firms.

A major local loop unbundling project has been undertaken by this broadband provider of the UK, at around thousand two hundred of its exchanges mainly with a view to serve over 70 percent of the businesses in Britain.

The company’s first phase of the rollout of the local access leased lines would be marked by the completion of fifty exchanges by the end of 2009. According to the claim of the UK ISP, its fresh service will be availed to the consumers at half the price of other Ethernet fibre products in the market.

Easynet Connect further puts forth the claim that their boosted bandwidth could open up a floodgate of opportunities to scores of enterprises in the UK, particularly that lot who previously were not able to access superfast internet.

They said in one of their statements that one out of every five small enterprises looked at the internet as the most significant tool that could help them survive the global economic recession, as about half of these business firms are contemplating on launching fresh products as well as services over the web.

Moreover, Easynet Connect also see that an increase in the use of cloud computing, remote working, as well as video conferencing has put increased stress on the web connections of small enterprises, hence the ISP find it significant providing quality as well as best value connections to the small businesses, no matter where they were based.

Precise pricing details were not let out by Easynet Connect, who although revealed that the pricing would depend on various factors such as the number of customers and the locations.
