C & W fires Bulldog customers

Bulldog broadband customers have received letters from Cable and Wireless in which they have been fired. The letter intimates them that their connection will be cut off in less than a month since it does not want them hanging around any longer. Most of Bulldog’s customer base was sold to Pipex last year for £12m. C&W declined to let know why some subscribers lingered on its network. They said that it was a “top secret”.

The announcement from C&W put forward Pipex is the finest off without some of them. They also mentioned that just like any other business, if the subscribers do not pay for the services their connection will no longer be provided for them. Keeping into consideration, the regular business rules, the firm mentioned that they are in the course of ceasing the service of a number of residential broadband customers who have either not paid the balance on their account within thirty-day payment terms. Unless the firm received the payment of the arrears, it is sure that the firm will disconnect the service provided to the customers.

In the letter sent to the customers on Wednesday, C & W recommended them to get off its LLU network and go back to BT where they might be wanted. They also mentioned that Migration Authorization Codes are available for the broadband-only lines.

But, Bulldog supporters supplied through Pipex are untouched by this move.
