BT Wholesale will have new CEO in September

BT, the largest broadband provider in UK announced that Sally Davis will take charge as the new Chief Executive of its subsidiary BT wholesale in September. Sally Davis, who was BT's Chief Portfolio Officer till date, had played an important role in the company's transition into new broadband and networked IT services. Prior to her appointment in the current position in BT she holds, she had served many major communication firms that include Bell Atlantic in the US and Mercury Communications in the UK as a member of senior management team.

Regarding her appointment as Chief Executive of BT wholesale, BT's chief executive Ben Verwaayen said:
"Sally has an exceptional level of experience and a proven track record in the communications industry on both sides of the Atlantic. This gives her a powerful insight into the needs and the opportunities of BT's wholesale customers.

"BT's ability to appoint such an outstanding executive from within its own ranks demonstrates again the strength in depth of the company's management team".
Much excited over her appointment, Sally David said the future of BT Wholesale is full of exciting possibilities in helping the nation's communication companies provide the best possible range of services to their end customers.

BT wholesale, the major division of BT broadband offers its own network services and solutions to fixed and mobile network operators and ISPs in UK.
