If you are looking for free movie downloads, you can get them from BT from this month. According to the report from BT Vision, the VoD (Video on Demand) of BT, you need not be a BT vision customer or a BT broadband customer to download the movies from its site. In fact, this service is sponsored by an advertisement placing Media company, Hiro Media which will place the adverts from various companies that include Norwich Union, RAC and the Territorial Army with the downloaded movies.

If you want to trial a movie, you will be required to install some software from Hiro Media and go through other instructions and you will be given to access to download and view the movies for a month. It is also possible that you can send the movie to anyone via email.

“We believe that sympathetically-placed, targeted advertising, combined with a viral film-sharing capability, will be attractive to many customers in conjunction with free or reduced content prices. We look forward to the results.”
