BskyB Claims Boost in Customer Base

The broadband supplier of the UK, BSkyB claims that this rise in its customer base is a record one, as it amounts to 43 percent, also meaning that the ISP Provider cum TV service provider at present serves 9.3 million households in the UK, with any of its internet, television or phone package. BSkyB also claims a considerable rise in the operating profit as well, as a sum of GBP 622 has been already reported.
However, the main objective of the high-spirited UK ISP is to extend its customer base in the segment of triple play bundles. This refers to the customers who subscribe to all the three main services of the ISP; broadband, television and telephone. Currently, the company is having a customer base of 1.4 million customers that aggregates to 15 percent of its total base, in this sector.
In a briefing, the chief executive of BSkyB ISP, Jeremy Darroch has expressed his content that the company has been emerged successful in creating around 750 fresh jobs in their installation and customer service teams, owing to the remarkable improvement in their customer base. He also expressed his gratitude to the Scottish call centres based employees at Uddingston, Dunfermline and Livingstone who according to him did a tremendous job in promoting the company.
