Broadband Users to benefit from SeeSaw Service

SeeSaw Video On Demand ServiceA fresh service of video on demand is all set to be availed to the broadband consumers across the United Kingdom. This service quiet important as it boasts of offering more than three thousand programming hours from various channels.

This is definitely fabulous news for the customers of the broadband internet in the country that wish to enjoy television shows through their computers and laptops. The fresh video on demand service conceived by Arqiva has been dubbed SeeSaw.

It is quite interesting to learn that Arqiva is the same firm that had acquired the assets of the ill-fated Project Kangaroo.

It is widely known that Project Kangaroo was a proposal of video on demand service forwarded by a group of prime broadcasting channels such as the Channel 4, the BBC and ITV. Incidentally, the European Competition Commission (ECC) had fatally blocked the proposal last year.

Although SeeSaw service would hardly deliver access to a good amount of on demand content of ITV, access to certain shows of ITV would be certainly provided resulting from a deal with the Digital Rights Group of the United Kingdom. Normally, programming from a number of TV channels including Channel 5, Channel 4 and the BBC would be offered by the fresh service.
