Features includes a standard VoIP (Voice over IP) and SIP based call facility through one FXS port that connect to the regular phone and one FXO port to receive calls from the PSTN fixed-line. A high speed internet access with ADSL2/2+ (having a backward compatibility with ADSL) that works on an 802.11g Wireless standard as an Access Point as well as for the wired network by connecting through the Ethernet cable. As far security is concerned the wireless communication is encrypted using WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption standard and a built-in Firewall Security prevent any form of DoS (Denial of Service) attack and SPI. The BiPAC 7401VGP device can connect to any major SIP or VoIP gateway in order to provide the industry best VoIP service to its consumers. A user can make cost effective quality calls through the ADSL fast internet connection by plugging the existing telephone set to the Router. There is one RJ-11 FXO port used for inbound and outbound transmitted through the local PSTN landline giving the feature of enjoying both VoIP and landline calls on the same phone. Any outbound call will be automatically re-directed to the PSTN incase VoIP or internet connection is unavailable. You will also get the call features like call waiting, called ID, echo reduction/cancellation etc.

High-speed Internet Access The device is ADSL compatible and supports a downstream rate of 8Mbps and up to 12 - 14 Mbps with ADSL 2/2+. An Uploading rate goes up to 1 Mbps which very normal as compared to other market leading products.
