Baltic Broadband’s expansion extends to cover Everton & Vauxhall

Liverpool based business ISP, Baltic Broadband, has recently announced along with Liverpool Internet Exchange that their 10 Gbps business targeted fibre network has been extended to cover Everton and Vauxhall areas also and at present working in the Liverpool areas.

The partnership has already made ready 10 Gbps network connectivity to cover the entire areas of Liverpool such say The Fabric District, the Baltic Triangle and the Lime Street/Renshaw street. The Liverpool expansion has covered Great Homer Street / Scotland Road. Hence the businesses can now get access to ultrafast broadband from £50 +vat per month.

The new expansion at Everton and Vauxhall areas starts from new Ten Streets project, running along the Dock Road to the east side of Everton Valley which covers Blackstock St, Commercial Road & the Pumpfields area. The ISP is at present also expanding in and around the areas of Wirral expected to complete in January. They are planning to cover Bootle, Sefton and South Liverpool also. They aim to deliver 100 Gbps business broadband network in the region before 2020.

Matt Wilson, Director of Baltic Broadband and IX Liverpool said that they feel proud to bring another 10Gbps in the areas of Liverpool. Baltic Broadband and IX Liverpool want to lift the businesses up and take them away from old, failed communication infrastructure. The partnership has also provided delivery of free ultrafast internet connectivity to not for profit organisations in these areas including church, school, youth club and even having future plan to deliver free internet to the streets of Everton and Vauxhall under this project.

Mayor of Liverpool – Joe Anderson said that as they are working with partners for regeneration of the city, bringing better infrastructure is a must. The investment in network connectivity will help to enable the areas to be more attractive to the businesses and are welcomed.
