24Mbps Business Broadband by UK Star ISP

 

A couple of weeks back; the broadband service provider of the UK, Star had launched a 24Mbps business broadband service, with a view to expand its existing broadband service range. Its new 24 Mbps service is all about ADSL2+ broadband technology. The platform, on which the service is based on, is the 21 CN/WBC platform of BT. The service is expected to cover 40 percent of the UK by April 2009.

Star Broadband ISP comes boasting as the fastest business broadband service provider of the UK. It is known to offer four types of business broadband services. They are ADSL2+, ADSL MAX, ADSL Classic and SDSL. The ADSL2+ Business is the latest one launched by them that offers a maximum download speed of 24Mbps. Upload speeds pertaining to this package is up to 442Kpbs. With unlimited download limits, the package starting from GBP39.99 a month is quite remarkable.

According to Star’s chief of Convergence and Network Strategy, Hugo Barber Star Broadband’s business package was the first of its kind that was dedicated exclusively to UK businesses. He further avers that his firm’s services are all the more significant for the fact that it presents a support team that understands the business requirements of the firms, to respond swiftly at a call, apart from offering them some of the fastest internet access speeds available over the network.

Star Broadband boasts that this service mode has been assumed by the company, while many other ISPs in the UK are simply focused on offering the fastest broadband speeds. The second and the best business broadband package promoted by Star is ADSL2+ Business Premium that offers download speeds of up to 24 Mbps, upload speeds of up to 832 Kpbs, unlimited download limits and ISDN/ADSL back up options.
