About Tiscali Broadband Provider
Tiscali has established itself as one of the leading ISPs in the UK by its acquisitions of Homechoice in 2006 and the broadband division of Pipex in the early 2007. Currently, Tiscali offers both broadband alone packages and triple play packages that include broadband, voice (landline) and IPTV services. Tiscali’s packages come with unlimited download and two different download streams (2Mb and 8Mb).

Tiscali has recently upgraded its home broadband deals to 8 Mbps downstream speed. Tiscali’s broadband-alone packages and triple play come with a special offer of free wireless router and prices starting from £6.49 per month and £17.99 respectively.
You also get a Freeview box when you sign up for the triple play packages. Tiscali TV gives access to more than 60 TV and radio channels including Sky One and ITV, 350 on-demand videos and more than thousand movies via internet.
Tiscali’s call plans with broadband offer free UK and international weekend calls for just £12.99 per month while you can upgrade it to super-fast broadband with anytime calls by paying just £5 extra! In addition, these two plans also save £126 as the phone rental is absolutely free!
Tiscali business packages offer free installation or migration 3 month contract. Free Wi-Fi router available for a limited period.

No connection since 4 April 2008. Heaps of money spent on fruitless phone calls. Have now asked for MAC code. I've had enough rubbish service.

After initial problems start up, now have had no broarband for 10 weeks have spent a fortune contacting Tech support with no joy. There stock phrase is the are passing you to a higher level of Tech Support who would phone back in 24/48 hours but they don't, more like a week later after several more calls to the support people. Have now had enough and ask for a MAC code.

Over-all, I am happy with Tiscali. Their option 1 package saved me a lot. free wireless router and free calls. Excellent money saver.

Things have been bad for the one month. My modem stopped working. When I contacted their customer support, they could not fix up the problem. Then I had to buy a new modem. Speeds are unreliable at times.

I have been with Tiscal for two years. Nothing much to complain. Prompt customer service and reliable connectivity. Ideal for homeusers who are on budget.
