About O2 Broadband UK
O2 Telefonica, the combined entity of O2 and Telefonica is one of the major fixed and mobile operators in Europe. In 2006, O2 mobile service provider acquired Be ADSL+2 provider and made its entry into UK broadband market. Currently, O2 has over 36 million mobile customers in Europe including UK.
O2 Broadband Packages
O2 launched three broadband products in mid-2007 with unlimited download limit. Its Premium and Ultimate packages are aimed at catering the needs of heavy users who require higher speeds. Its entry level package O2 Standard is suitable for light users.
All existing O2 mobile customers will get £5 off from standard price. Other benefits include free wireless router, free McAfee security and free email addresses. However, the line rental is not included.

Recently, I upgraded my O2 broadband to the Ultimate package. The static IP was an useful feature and the speeds are excellent, reliable all the time. I have never enjoyed online games before.

I signed a basic package with O2 broadband. The speed is amazing and I could surf much faster. Their wireless router is indeed superb. The McAfee software with parental controls protect your pc as well as your children. Go for O2 broadband.

O2 offers its wireless livebox for wireless network. I could get up to 17 Mbps download speed. Their packages include McAfee security and parental controls. Really, complete package.
