Virgin Media Broadband Provider Deals
About Virgin Media
With more than 3.4 million customers, Virgin Media is the largest UK broadband provider next to BT and the first UK ISP to launch quad play service in the UK. Virgin delivers its services mainly via its cable network. The non-cable customers of Virgin get its services through its ADSL or by dial-up connection. Virgin Media is perhaps the only ISP that recognizes unlimited downloads as the user’s basic right and boasts that its service is three times faster than its rival ADSL service providers like BT or AOL.
Virgin Media Broadband Packages
Virgin Media offers three packages namely size M, size L and size XL - all with unlimited monthly usage allowance and a download stream of 2Mb, 10Mb and 20Mb respectively.
Virgin’s quad play bundles offer you broadband, landline phone, mobile and TV services using single platform - Virgin cable network. Virgin broadband offers taken along with its other services like Virgin mobile or TV add great value to your money thus their bundles sound more attractive than any other deal.
All Virgin packages also include a free modem and PC guard online protection while Virgin L and XL packages offer free wireless router and you can save up to £30 when you buy online!
*This is maximum speed. The actual speed depends on your line and the distance between the exchange and your premises.

Technical support is worthless and speeds have slowed down recently. Their broadband service has disappointed me that I would switch to some ADSL provider when my contract is over.

Unreliable and frustrating to deal with.
Virgin screwed up my internet and say I can't be re-connected for 2 weeks. A fried was out of action for nearly a month.
Go with a BT-line ADSL provider if you can
