Orange, (formerly known as Wanadoo) is a part of France Telecom and offers various services that include broadband, IPTV, home phone and mobile services in many countries.

France Telecom, the parent of Orange acquired Freeserve in 2001 and Freeserve entered UK market under the name 'Wanadoo' in 2004.

In 2006, Wanadoo became Orange and launched free broadband with call plans. Athough Orange broadband had seen ups and downs during the past, the recent revamp of its packages helped the provider to regain customer faith and statisfaction.

Orange broadband provider offers home broadband packages that can be combined with Orange phone packges to save your money. There are three basic packages that have been rolled out by Orange - Home Starter, Home Max and Home Select.

Home Starter is suitable for beginners and light users while Home Max is ideal for those who spend much of their time in watching streaming videos and downloading huge files.
