Cheap O2 Broadband - Packages, Offers

O2 Telefonica, the combined entity of O2 and Telefonica is one of the major fixed and mobile operators in Europe. In 2006, O2 mobile service provider acquired Be ADSL+2 provider and made its entry into UK broadband market. Currently, O2 has over 36 million mobile customers in Europe including UK.

O2 launched three broadband products in mid-2007 with unlimited download limit. Its Premium and Ultimate packages are aimed at catering the needs of heavy users who require higher speeds.Its entry level package O2 Standard is suitable for light users.

All existing O2 mobile customers will get £4.89 off from the standard price, when they sign up to a O2 broadband pacakge.

Recently, O2 has also announced similar £5 discount for its PAYG customers who commit to 12 month contract on any of its broadband deals provided that they top up their mobile with £10 every three months.

Other benefits include free wireless router, free McAfee security and free email addresses. However, the line rental is not included.
