Red Kite which provides highspeed wireless internet service via its CI-Net network launched is WiMax based UK broadband service in new areas like Birmingham and Croydon. The service known as ‘Leased line in the sky’ can offer download speeds up to 100 Mbps to its customers who covered by its CI-Net network, the report says.
To access the wireless broadband service of Red Kite, a radio or antenna has to be installed outside your premises and should be configured and aligned properly to get the signals from the Red Kite base station. Then the other end is connected to the PC or the network of computers through cables.
One of the main features of its service is that it offers symmetrical bandwidth which is ideal for businesses that need higher upload speeds for activities like email or web server hosting, videoconferencing, home working and VoIP.
Red Kite provides the connection within 10 days during which all works like the survey of full site, installation and testing are all carried out so you need not wait a month or two for service.
Red Kite also assures reliability with a Service Level Agreement as you can get service credits in case the provider fails to meet the level of performance it advertises. Finally, the provider also offers excellent customer service and technical support which are pre-requisites for reliable business broadband services.
