Boris Johnson, mayor of London has assured Londoners that they will be able to use city wide WiFi coverage in advance of 2012 Olympic games. Also it seems as if The Cloud is going to be the most likely provider. Reports of Financial Times say that Boris has approached the broadband provider to enquire if it could organize plans on how it can lend WiFi access to the Olympic site in Stratford in time for the games.

Other mobile broadband providers like Virgin Media, O2 and Vodafone are also in hand to assist, said Steve Nicholson, the chief executive of Cloud.
Bore when spoke at a Google organized event in London  said that his vision was to offer wireless internet access for “every lamppost” and every bus stop, across the Capital. About 22 administrative division of London has signed up for the project so far, says BBC.

So far, the price for the service plans is not yet declared but suspected that it should be priced competitive  to encourage users to hook up.
