Buses with Moovbox M100 offer Wifi access
Wi-fi hotspots are making their way into urban life today. We can see wi-fi hotspots in places of importance like restaurants, air ports etc. All you need is a wifi enabled laptop and some wifi vouchers to use these wifi hotspots.
Now, buses and taxis and trains provide wifi access while you are on travel. The Moovbox , the mobile broadband gateway that provides wifi service for the users can be mounted inside the vehicles. This device, manufactured by Moovera is enabled with 3G UMTS, HSDPA, TD-CDMA and WiMax. As it supports plug-and-play, this networking device can offer service wherever the signals are available.
Many public transportation have introduced Wifi and recently Arriva Scotland joined them by installing Moovbox M100 in their luxury bus. During the journey, the passengers can access internet with minimum 1Mb downstream speed.
Gerry Price of National Express says:
“The Moovbox M Series has enabled us to roll out Wi-fi on our coaches – a valuable service to our customers – while also keeping track of our vehicles en-route”.
