If you are a customer of BT Option 2 and Option 3, here is the news to cheer you. BT, the largest broadband in UK has struck a deal with the Argentinean wireless broadband provider to provide wifi access to their customers worldwide using the combined wifi network of BT and FON wirless network.

Gavin Patterson of BT was much excited over the proposed Wi-fi community jointly by Fon and BT. In his words, BT and FON "are giving our millions of broadband UK customers a choice and an opportunity. If they are prepared to securely share a little of their broadband, they can share the broadband connections of 190,000 others without paying a penny."

BT has offered BT Home Hub, a wireless router to its BT Total broadband customers who will find it to be useful to connect themselves to the number of wi-fi hotspots set up by BT and FON. All a BT Total customer has to do to become the member of this wi-fi community is to visit www.btfon.com and register them for this plan.
