It has been reported by the Guardian, one of the popular news portals operating in the United Kingdom that Apple was currently busy negotiating with a number of mobile broadband providers in the United Kingdom on the launch of its iSlate.
It is quite probable that, if a deal is struck, the winning mobile broadband provider or providers would offer the device on monthly deals similar to those in place currently for netbooks and laptops integrated with mobile broadband internet access.
However, it is also reported that obscurity shrouds the scene while one point of speculation was that the mobile broadband providers were lobbying for exclusive iSlate rights, while there is also another theory that Apple could go with the approach of launching the device across a range of networks, which it had used for selling iPhones in Britain.
Nevertheless, the Guardian report too is found very much on light on evidence for substantiating the theories highlighted by it, as the only network seemingly in hot negotiations is Orange, and Vodafone and O2 were simply believed to be interested. Whatsoever, from the given data it is apparent that Orange is the most favourite.
Apple is also reported to be optimistically looking forward to the consistent quality mobile broadband service of Orange, to make sure that the connectivity related issues it had experienced previously with some iPhone customers are mitigated.
